Newton's Law Of Cooling

1. What is the Newton’s Law of Cooling?

It is about the temperature of an object surface changes proportionaly to its relative temperature

2. What variables in your problem correspond with the variables in the Newton’s Law of Cooling?

Time, temperature, place, involved peple.

3. According to this Law, at what time approximately the death happened?

We've founded the body at 3:00p.m. and it has been there for 3 hours, so the person died at 12:00 a.m

4. How does the room temperature affect the time of death?

It affect in tha way that if the temperature outside is cold or hot, because the body is goig to get the environment temperature.

5. How does an illness (e.g. fever) affect the time of death?

It affects because if the dead person was sick, the temperature of its body will be different as he or she wouldn't had any illness.

6. How exact is the approximation of the Newton’s Law of Cooling for predicting the time of death?

It is very exactly because it gives you almos the most aproximated quantity.

Murder We Wrote (2nd part)

4. What methods are commonly used to find the time of death?

the rate method & the concurrence method.

5. What factors are considered in Algor Mortis?

the actual body temperature at the time of death; and the actual length of the post
mortem temperature plateau.

6. How does the environment affect the time of death?

It could alter the death body and it could make that the body become rotten faster so you wouldn't be allow to know when does this crime occurs.

7. What can you tell about the different methods of temperature reading of the body? Do they make a difference in the results?

Yes because it could give you an exact result about at which time does this person die

Finger prints, personal objects of the persosn that is dead, hair, foot prints, nails, maybe blood.

3. Why is important to determine the time of death?

I think that the main objective of the final projects is to know or to learn how to use calculus during our life, and our problems, for example when we used to ask: what time is it, and someone ask this question, the person who answer this is using calculus, also, when you want to give some candies to your brothers or sisters & you say if I have 5 candies, and my brothers & sisters are 3, what I should do is to give one to one of each and the other two I could keep'em, so we can refer that calculus is everywhere and it could be cool that you learn how to use it as soon as possible.

Partials Week O:

This was the "partial week", in my personal opinion it was very tired because I really felt the stress over me :(

I thought that I was going to get a good grade in Calclulus, because I have spend all my weekend studying, Friday on Tobarito, then Saturday & Sunday in my house.

When I got the exam, I really feel nervous because I star doing it but I really get confused, so I didn't know how to do any of the first problems, so I decide to do the one's that I think that I know, so that's how i did the exam.

My partial grade, wasn't good but I'm sure that in the second partial I'm going to do my best to get a 100, or almost I hope it...

And in today's class I felt very happy because finally I understood EVERYTHING!!, and I'm proud of it.

And apart of all this, today's "Valentine's Day" & I'm really happy because I've recieved a lot of presents like candies, marshmallows, chocolates, hugs, phone calls, necklace & many things more, but not just this, I've spend all my day with the persons I love & this is more important than somehing material. This day was really special for me :D!

Tomorrow we're going to Guadalajara, Jalisco, to the Tec campus that is in there, I hope that this trip be cool because all my friends are going to go.

And then I think I'll need time to take a rest (like in the picture),or may be a vacations jajaja :D!

:D!

During this week I passed my quiz and I really felt so happy, beacuse is the first time in the semester that I get good grades in calculus. Also I went to Tobarito again to get ready for my partial exam with Alexandra, Fatima and Jaime. And we are going to do our best effort to have excellent grades.

I went to the lake, for walk and to relax and I saw a friend that I had not seen for a long time. Also I helped my mom baking some cakes & I ate a little cake of piña colada.

On Thursday during the calculus class we had a quiz activity and I really felt so proud of myself, because I had won eigth cards and I get the first place and I think that it helped me, because it prepares me for the exam.

And I would like to thank you for giving us the recall card ((:

:*

Well, I think this week was really hard, i really felt so tired because of the homeworks and all those things. And today i went to Tobarito, wih fatima and Alexandra and we do our homework for the next sessions and I think i already understand (:

" We are usually convinced more easily by reasons we have found ourselves than by those which have occurred to others..."

I could interpret this phrase as, we didn't trust in someone who tell us something if this thing haven't happened to us for example if someone tell me, "hey i saw your boyfriend with another girl", so, when someone, tell us this we didn't want to believe, until we saw this; or not exactly this but is kind of equal.
